2022 Dry Riesling

Our Mora 2022 Dry Riesling is selected from a single block called Maia in our Felton Terraces vineyard. The vines from this block are well established, having been planted in 2001. The settled and warm 2022 growing season gave us beautiful fine florals and mineral notes, and some enjoyable tension between the bright acidity and slight hint of residual sugar.
Picked in the cool of the autumn morning to maintain freshness. Whole bunch pressed to stainless steel to retain the fresh fruit characters and clean, bright acidity.
Lime blossom and ginger notes on the nose. Intense citrus fruit on the palate with fresh lychee and grapefruit pith with a lovely line of acidity perfectly balanced with the residual sugar.
