An enticing wine on the nose and palate with flavours of summer berry pudding and roses, there’s a distinctive Otago hillside savoury dried herb quality layered through the wine, sage and wild thyme then stones and layers of oak. The core fruit flavours of raspberry and cherry fill the palate first followed by textures and flavours from wood, tannins and acidity. Dry, youthful, balanced and well made. June 2023

Talk about impressive Pinot Noir. Bold, dark and full bodied but soft, silky and lithely delicate in style too. This is a dry, powerful Pinot Noir with red plum aromas leading into a refreshing, multi layered flavoursome wine with depths of aroma and a long finish. Every sip lingers. 6 May 2023

The nose is gentle, with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, rich herb and subtle spice. Medium-bodied aromas of black cherry and blackberry interweaved with thyme, black pepper, cinnamon, and pomegranate on the finish. Powdery tannins leave a silky mouthfeel; soft and lively acidity provides a smooth flow to a fine finish. This sweet-fruited Pinot Noir shows dark fruit, spice and lively acidity on a silky mouthfeel. Match with lamb loin and confit duck leg over the next 5+ years. 18.5+/20 pts (94 pts) May 2023

Lovely nose, quite savoury, dustiness, darker fruits, a herb backdrop, perfume growing (rose petal?). Similar notes on the palate, silky entry, fresh & vibrant then some attractive chewiness. Definitely youthful but super balance and drinkability already. Depth, yet light on its feet, good length & mouthfeel, not overblown and lovely pinosity. 22 June 2023
