A visit to Vale offers the rustic charm of a barn house nestled next to a vineyard of Pinot Noir recently converted to organic certification.
With a view west to the towering Pisa Ranges and east to sparkling Lake Dunstan, Vale is a wonderful place representing Mora's expansion into certified organic farming.
Vale is a vineyard of nearly five hectares, planted to a collection of Pinot Noir clones, completing its conversion to organic certification in March 2021. Winemaker Sarah Adamson has noticed complex flavours in the stems of the Pinot Noir bunches at Vale, a unique expression of this site. Watch this space for a potential 'whole cluster' fermented single vineyard Pinot Noir!
